If the management of human resources is not implemented, it will result in work activities in the library becoming unsystematic because they do not fully understand the system of the school library, the work planning, and the work division that is beyond their capabilities. In the practice, not all the plans made was able to execute since their capabilities were limited. Based on the results, the management function on human resource management has been ineffectively implemented for it was only applied based on needs at the library. Three informants participated in this study. Pengertian Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) Organisasi memiliki berbagai macam manajemen dan sumber daya serta manusia sebagai ‘input’ untuk diubah menjadi ‘output’ berupa produk barang atau jasa. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This study is descriptive research using the qualitative method. Reviewing the implementation of management function on human resources management and difficulties in implementing it, this study aims to determine the implementation of the human resource management function in the library of SMKN 1 Pontianak. Therefore, human resource management is necessary for making the works are carried out maximally and systematically.
However, the human resources at the library of SMKN 1 Pontianak have not been well-organized in carrying out the given tasks.
The existence of human resource planning Education, then can provide direction for educational institutions as a whole about the human resources needed, human resource activities to be managed and developed, can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the institution as well as for educators and education staff, so that it can be integrated with short-term planning goals and long-term educational institutions.Human resource is one of the important parts of organizing a library. Educational institutions need to carry out a strategic, integrated, interrelated, and comprehensive human resources education planning through the management of education human resources in determining the desired movements of educators and education personnel in the future. All educational resources cannot function optimally if they are not supported by the availability of human resources. Human resources are the drivers of a system and all facilities, assets, curriculum, facilities, infrastructure and all other resources. Educational institutions really need competent human resources in order to support the success and achievement of goals. Human Resources is a major component and as a determinant of success and failure in an organization or educational institution.
